Outlook Email Setup

iPad Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync


iPad (and iPhone) software (iOS) communicates directly with your eduMAIL account, giving you access to email, contacts and calendar. Exchange Active Sync maintains a connection between eduMAIL and your iPad so when new email or meeting invitation arrives, iPhone/iPad is instantly updated.


Configuring iPhone/iPad to access eduMAIL.

Open Settings
 

Select ‘Passwords and Accounts’

Select ‘Add Account...

Select "Exchange"

Enter account information

Email = [email protected]

Description = EduMail

Select ‘Next’

Select "Configure Manually"

Enter your Password
​

Enter Server = www.edumail.vic.gov.au

Domain = edu001

Username =  Staff ID (8 digit TO Number)

Select ‘Next’ 

Click Save

The EduMail account will now be listed...
